1. Learning-Only Platform

Zostava is an educational coding academy. Every sprint, editor session, AI mentor chat, and assessment exists purely to help you learn software engineering. The platform is not intended for production workloads, commercial hosting, or storing business-critical data.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for the activity that happens under your account. Please do not share accounts — progress, XP, and certificates are tied to a single learner.

3. Safe Environment

Code you write runs inside a sandboxed study environment. Attempting to break out of the sandbox, attack other learners, scrape the platform, or disrupt service is prohibited and may end your access.

4. No Data Leaks

We do not sell, rent, or leak your data. Your learning activity stays inside Zostava and is never shared with advertisers or data brokers. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

5. Content & Certificates

Course material, sprints, and assessments belong to Zostava and are licensed to you for personal learning. Certificates are issued to the learner who completed the work; misrepresenting or reselling them voids them.

6. Acceptable Use

No harassment, no malicious code, no uploading illegal content, and no using the AI mentors to generate harmful material. Keep it about learning and everyone benefits.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep Zostava online, but the platform is provided on an as-is basis without uptime guarantees. Features, tracks, and mentors may evolve as the curriculum improves.

8. Changes to These Terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will update this page. Continuing to use Zostava after an update means you accept the revised terms.
